Road and Off Road Riding - The Sound Cyclists Bicycle Club offers a wide schedule of road and off-road rides on a weekly basis.  There is no better way to learn the great road routes in our area!  The club also hosts a number of major cycling events every year as well as offers its members other social activities.  Pure beginners as well as competitive level riders are welcome.  Visit their website at www.soundcyclists.com .

CT NEMBA - Visit www.ctnemba.org, for tons of Connecticut-specific mountain bike news!  Group rides, advocacy, trail repair, education and much more for the concerned and courteous mountain biker! Family Riding - For fun family riding opportunities, consider Cove Island Park in Stamford, Sherwood Island State Park in Westport, and Cranbury Park in Norwalk (light trail riding requiring MTB tires).

Norwalk River Valley Trail - Very cool network of trails (of varying terrain) that starts in east Norwalk and is planned to run all the way to Danbury.  Completed sections offer great recreational riding in the 'rails-to-trails' spirit. Visit www.nrvt-trail.com
