GIANT MOUNTAIN BIKES
Smart Cycles has been selling the best premium mountain bike brands for over two decades. We've put a lot of riders on Santa Cruz, Intense and Transition bikes. These brands have been around since the wee hours of the full- suspension mountain bike movement and each has greatly contributed to the advanced designs and materials that make up that segment of the cycling world today. Over the years, in an effort to mix things up and offer a lot of options, we've tried to park many different brands next to those top shelf, boutique bikes...Schwinn, GT, Kona, Rocky Mountain, Scott, and others....but only one brand has held up over the years when compared to our premium models: GIANT.
Giant does what you'd expect a big company to do, but what many brands can't do. They have a wide line of off road bikes from rigid hard tails to medium travel XC bikes to 7" Enduro models and 10" DH monsters. Giant is, first and foremost, a bicycle manufacturing company - they make their own stuff. Much like the smaller, specialty companies, Giant delivers tight manufacturing tolerances, but they can deliver them in large quantities while offering great value. Plus, Giant is an absolute leader in the field of manufacturing carbon bicycle frames. If you are considering carbon, you owe it to yourself to look at a Giant since they control the process of making a carbon frame from the very beginning. They even weave their own carbon sheets. This means you are getting a carbon frame that you can be assured is manufactured to exacting specs - hardly anyone can claim this. So, it is no wonder that GIANT has a strong following of dedicated, experienced riders who know exactly what they need their equipment to be and are totally satisfied by what Giant brings to the starting line!
